TALENT

Hook

What if I told you you're the best to ever do it

What if I told you go ahead just pull it Finger on the trigger but you're

hesitant What if that talent that you have is heaven sent

What if I told you you're the best to ever do it What

if I told you go ahead just pull it Finger on the trigger but you're

hesitant What if you responded nah man to hell with it Only one

life you have to live Only so much time you have to give

The choice is yours The choice is yours I

Verse 1

was 16 years old at my high school talent show Got up on stage and I

just let it go These grandmas in the front were even feeling my flow My youth

leader Papa Ray caught video on his phone Watching back with my friends

seeing me on the screen My homegirl turned to me and said keep

living your dream I think back to those moments they're so clear in my mind

Thank God I didn't give up I

kept writing these rhymes What if I

Verse 2

was 18 years old when I

did my first album Shout out to my uncle Jess I

couldn't do that one without him And shout out to my mom who

took me out of school for a week She wanted to see me

go and live my dream Fresno California airport through TSA At my gate I

met the lead singer of TFK My favorite band at the time

what did he say Trevor McNavin gave me advice I

say to this day Make sure they believe you when you record And sure

he kept it short but that struck a chord Cause when we hit the red

button for the first time And I

stepped up to the mic to spit my first rhyme Uncle Jess took a moment

looked me in the eye I

took a deep breath and then he gave me the sign We were

done in two days it was amazing to me I

just recorded all the songs on my first CD What if I
