Scheduled Appointment

Verse 1

This world is so lost in their philosophy That's a sign something's missing

like an apostrophe Yet we turn a blind eye to what we often

see Hot potato at the church pass the offering When I'm sitting in the pews

I'm a selfish dude And I

don't give a dime dropping 20 on food Skimming through the news I

see kids with no shoes And like ticking time bombs

they're on a short fuse But what's that got to do with my picket

fence I didn't know the Christian faith was this intense Where obedience is

not legalistic Sin all the more I

think we've missed it That's straight sadistic we're going ballistic This track might

Hook

catch flack but I'm willing to risk it I

Verse 2

might not be liked at the end of the night But I

have to live this life with the end in sight That this life

ain't about what we do to enjoy it Money's not the bottom line and neither

is employment Scratch the sin itch never finding the ointment But still you and God

have a scheduled appointment

The track might catch flack but I'm willing to risk it
