Though the people in the crowd might be laughing again

Unbelievers in the world yeah they’re acting again

But I rap the gospel so keep racking them in

They put up a front like a masquerade

Flaunt their folly like a mass parade

Those who love the Lord are the last brigade

I spread the word of God like a gas grenade

Same thing every day just replacing the sin

One thing to another just chasing the wind

So it’s tough when I bring it to be facing these men

But like Jeremiah man I’ll face them again

I can’t afford to live my life afraid

I’ve been called by the Lord to rhyme today

Man I love Jesus I’m healed by His stripes

See I turn to Christ when I’m at a crossroad

Jesus carried His cross as He walked that cross road

Cat of nine tails He took a beating for me

Forty minus one before He hung on a tree

After Adam’s fall we were plagued with sin

So Christ gave His life became our medicine

Then He rose again and lives as our hope

Healed my sickness He’s my antidote

Turn to the Living God it’s not a joke

Only He can save you from the flame and smoke

I was locked up longing to be free

As a sinner I’ve got a desperate need

See Jesus saved me and He had to bleed

And this redeemed me from every lawless deed

There’s a unity that only Jesus brings

There’s a common ground that can only be found

At the foot of the cross where He laid His life down

I’ve never been the one to come and make waves

Today is the day all of that will change

To the ones who say we’re all the same

Jesus is the only way and only saving name

Rather divide by the truth than unite by a lie

It’s time we recognize what’s true in this life
