Verse 1

Time’s almost up so redeem the time

Man my light shines bright man it’s time to shine

Yo they’re blind to the light they’ve got no sight

Their eyes are all closed and they don’t see right

A city on a hill cannot be hidden

That should describe you if you’re a Christian

And there’s no such thing as a silent witness

Got a mouth for a reason be about His business

We can’t afford to keep our faith a secret

We’ve got the truth and the world they need it

So please believe it if they’re stuck in jail

Then there’s only one Man who can pay the bail

It’s the God Man the Lord Jesus Christ

One who came to save and give His life

To give us life that’s what He came to do

So don’t live for yourself live for Him who’s true

Verse 2

I came here today just to preach the word

But this verse right here goes out to the church

Once a week Christianity it don’t exist

And if you’re thinking that it does there’s something you missed

We’re called to be salt called to be light

Called to holiness and called to live right

We’re called to serve and lay down our pride

Called to worship and called to abide

Don’t take His grace and take off and run

Around in sin like the prodigal son

Yo this world is a jungle and the devil’s a lion

And rolling with him will leave ya dying

In your sin but God is here

To show you His love and to cast out fear

Now I know it gets tough I know it gets hard

But He’s overcome the world press on and take heart

Hook

Verse 3

This verse right here is for the lost

I’m telling you now look to the cross

And take a good look at what God has done

And put your trust in His only Son

He’s the only One who can save you

It’s eternal life He came and gave you

So will you choose Christ before your time’s up?

Will you choose Jesus Christ and give your life up?

Or will you keep running on that hamster wheel

Never satisfied by the things that you feel

So it’s deal or no deal your time to choose

I’ve shared the good news now there’s no excuse

Will you get right or get left behind?

Will you walk by faith or do you need a sign?

Well if you do well then here it is

Jesus Christ died but now He lives

Hook

So redeem the time
