Soldiers Of The Lord

“Soldiers of the Lord” by K-Low

Soldiers of the Lord, in 2 Timothy 2, verse 3,

it says you therefore must endure hardships as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Let’s Ephesians 6, meaning, let’s suit up for battle. Let’s go.

Verse 1

I’m a Christian G.I. Joes

I’m up and ready to go

a soldier for Christ gotta let them know

About the gospel, it’s the seed we’ll sow

God will make it grow when their faith is running low

They won’t deceive us

We’ve got the Lord Jesus

He’s the one that freed us

Now we stand as believers

looks nice and sin tries to invite us in

It’ll entice and excite with a deceitful grin

It’ll bite and fight and try to get the win

But the right will delight in Jesus Christ their friend

In the Lord I’m strong like an alligator

Suited up for battle a Christian gladiator

godly terminator sin exterminator

Lord fearing and revering total Satan hater

I’m not waiting ‘til later see I’m doing this now

keeping my head down, my hand on the plow

Hook

I know the gospel like the back of my hand

Soldiers of the Lord come on and take a stand

Armor of God, Word of the Spirit

We gotta’ preach it loud so the world can hear it

Verse 2

I’ve got my belt of truth fastened around my waist

Holding my righteous breastplate firm and in place

Shoes of readiness strapped on my feet

Bringing forth the gospel of joy and peace

And I’m taking up my shield, the shield of faith

With it I extinguish every arrow of flame

Helmet of salvation fitted tightly on my head

Without it in battle well I know that I’d be dead

Cuz my offensive weapon is the word of the spirit

I know that the devil will come to know and to fear it

and if he comes too close I’ll use the word of God

So perfect, God-breathed, not even close to flawed

Be strong in the Lord in the power of His might

Move on with your sword in this hour we fight

It’s day versus night and dark versus light

In this spiritual battle we must unite

Verse 3

It’s a bit foreboding

My mind exploding

My thoughts eroding

it’s reloading

With Bible verses

His Word’s worth is

Far from worthless

Far beyond what’s in your purses

Used to change minds and used to change hearts

To illuminate with light and shine in the dark

It finds fertile soil and its roots grow deep

It’s obedient and loyal and trustworthy

His Word reveals things

To those who read

He blesses them with discernment and understanding

“For nothing is impossible with God.” Our Lord in heaven

Check this verse it’s Luke 1:37

Yo we ain’t giving up yeah there’s no question

Pressing on in our call no second guessing

we’re going all out till we all out

Soldiers of the Lord know what we’re about
